Hi, my name is Jeff Benjamin. I am a member of Hell Hole ABATE which is a part of the Lowcountry area. I joined ABATE in 2014 and I currently serve as Sergeant of Arms for my chapter and the Lowcountry chapter.
I am running for State Asst Coordinator My mission should I be elected would be to facilitate open communication between all state areas and chapters. To assist the state coordinator in any areas he deems necessary. Listening to all ideas starting with the ground level. Many of our best ideas come from the core membership at the local level. Our best assets are our people.
We need membership to increase and see participation increase for the ones that are already members. We must find a way to reverse the trend of decreasing membership numbers. I would like to find incentives to thank our membership for their hard work and dedication to ABATE.
I have been very active in our chapter and area assisting where needed and will continue to do so. I have been a truck driver since 1989. I have visited the 48 continuous states during my time as a trucker. I am well aware of how traffic laws can hurt or benefit us all.
